Prices are for the design and engraving on our pieces. Supplying something of your own? Send a photo and we'll tell you if it'll take an engraving.
Getting the words right
Most people know exactly who a keepsake is for and have no idea what it should say. You don't have to arrive with the words sorted. Tell us who they were, what they were like, and roughly how much room you want it to take up. We'll send back two or three options to choose from.
- A name and two dates is enough. It nearly always is.
- Short outlasts clever. Small pieces read better with fewer words, and fine text engraves poorly below a certain size. We'll tell you before it's cut, not after.
- Spelling is on the proof for a reason. Check names and dates carefully. Once it's engraved it's engraved.
- Their handwriting works here too. A signature or a line from a card can be traced onto the piece.
From a photo
Pet portraits & Silhouettes
Send a clear photo, straight at the camera is best, and we'll draw the outline from it. What comes out is a clean, simple likeness rather than a printed photograph.
What makes a photo work
Good light, the whole head in frame, nothing cluttered behind them. A slightly blurry phone snap of the right moment usually beats a sharp one of the wrong pose. Send it and we'll tell you.
Keepsake questions
Yes, and most people ask. Tell us who it's for and what they were like and we'll send a couple of options back with the quote.
Yes. We draw a clean outline or silhouette from it rather than printing the photo. Straight at the camera, good light, nothing busy behind them.
There's a floor, and it's lower than most people expect, but below it the letters lose their edges. We'll tell you if what you've sent won't read at the size you want, and suggest what will.
We do our best to prioritise anything that is date-focused, especially for events like funerals, anniversaries and services. Give us your date up front and we'll let you know if we can do it.
Yes. Family sets and group gifts are common, and the per-piece price comes down. Tell us how many and whether each one needs different wording.
